Brian Around the World

In this picture I'm paddling in a canoe on a lake in Finland. The picture is taken by my good friend Kaisa, and is taken at the lake next to her parents summer house in Padasjoki.

This picture is taken at Highgate cementary in London. In the picture you see me standing next to the grave of the late great Karl Marx.

This picture is taken in Dec. 1992. Behind me is the white house, and in it sits George Bush. Not for long however, Clinton had already been voted in.

Here is a picture from New York, this time it is me and one huge lady...The Statue of Liberty.

This picture is taken during fall 97, and it shows me on the green pastures of Ireland. I visited Limerick and Dublin while there on a seminar.

This picture is taken in front of Pura Besakih, the Hindu mother temple in Bali, Indonesia. What you see are the steps leading up to the main entrance. In front of this you see me in a sarong and a hat.

This picture is take by Mads, and it shows me at the highest point in the Kevo Natural Reserve in Finnish Lapland (also called Finnmarken) aprox. 400 km north of the arctic circle. The name of the peak is Guivi, and from there you can get a really nice view of the tundra.

This picture is taken on a temple excursion south of Chennai (former Madras). The small Hindu temple I am in, a part of a larger temple, is a Karma Sutra temple, and all the stone pillars have naked woman and positions in lovemaking carved into them.

Here I'm on a camel safari in Rajahstan on the border to Pakistan (the Rajahstani desert was later to become the test sight for Indias first neuclear bomb testing). Here we are about 10 KM from Pushkar, another place worth visiting when in India.

Here I am in the rainforest of Borneo near Kg. Sinungkalangan in the Tambunan District, Sabah, drinking from a tree root - learning about the indigenous knowledge and the utilities of the rainforest.

This picture is also taken in the rainforest of Borneo, near the same kampung, after a tough day of jungle hiking. Tired and wearing my leech socks.

This picture of me is taken in Australie in a tempered rainforst in southern Queensland. Take note of my Akubra (hat), it was an xmas gift from my uncle and aunt who live on the Gold Coast.


This is a picture of me in front of a cannon named Maria, left by the Portuguese in Goa (India). My dad visited this cannon back in the 60's when travelling around India.


Here I'm diving in the Red Sea off the Egyptian coast near Hurghada.
